| I'm glad you brought up this film. It's one of my favorites. Kenneth Branagh does a good job with this "Hitchcockian" effort. The mood and style is so perfect (love that music by Patrick Doyle), and there is plenty of humor, too. The only fault I found with this genuine classic was Andy Garcia's old age makeup, which looked too phony. Robin Williams' cameo was good without being too distracting. I like all the foreshadowing with the scissors. This film could have been made in the 40's, it's so old fashioned. Rating: 9/10 |
