I think Jack needs to stick to supporting roles. I am not quite sure what Gwenyth was thinking in taking this role. Lets just say she needs to stick to what she knows. From the Farlley brothers I expected a little more comedy than the sappiness I found in this movie. Of course "Me, Myself and Irene wasn't as good as "Something About Mary", and this movie wasn't as good as either of the two. This movie is predictable and a silly romantic comedy, that uses the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" slogan a bit too much. However, it did keep me entertained, but I am certainly glad I rented this flick instead of investing the time to see it in the movie theater. If a "Beautiful Mind" or "Mothman Prophecies" are out then check out "Shallow Hal". |
