LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER (2001) This was one of the worst movies of 2001. Not even Angelina Jolie could save this stinker. I heard it was bad and boring but I didn't think it could be "that" bad so I didn't listen and I went to see it. I figured any movie with Angelina Jolie, tight clothes, and a gun couldn't be that bad. Man was I wrong. I was so damn bored during this movie and I felt like going to sleep, but I didn't because I kept thinking "it's gotta get better." I was wrong again. I'll admit it had a couple of cool action scenes, but that's about it. I hate to say that I didn't like it but I really didn't. It's hard to believe Roger Ebert gave it a Thumbs Up. What a disappointment!!! I was thinking it would be a lot of fun, but I was soooooo wrong. If you're looking for a fun action movie, this isn't it, but if you want something to put you to sleep, Tomb Raider is your movie. This was the worst movie I saw during Summer 2001 and one of the worst of the year. Grade: 4/10 or D+ or ** of *****
