I will agree with everyone and say that it did run a bit long. However, (as opposed to most people) it wasn't the "love story" that I thought ran too long, but it was the battle sequence. I thought that the actual Pearl Harbor bombing sequence was way too long. I believe that it clocked in at about 45 minutes. On the other hand, the special effects were amazing and it was quite visually impressive. I was also impressed by the acting (considering I do not like either Ben Affleck or Josh Hartnett). Basically, I just thought that this was your basic fun, popcorn flick (I don't think It was exactly Oscar material). 7/10. |
