| Blade: Trinity - 7/10 ill first say that Blade is a big love of mine, both Blade and Blade II are vampire favorites, and Blade II is pretty much my fave of all time for its genre, and it makes it in my top 100 somewhere. Im a little disappointed now that ive finally gotten to see this movie, because its not nearly as good as it could have been. It has an issue with trying to throw in too much humor, and most of it goes with barely a smirk, a lot of times with nothing at all. Also, the style that made Blade II look so awesome, doesnt look as effortless here, and looks a little too forced. However, its still great fun, there are a few laughs, and the action and special effects are still nice top notch shit. i wouldnt be completely opposed to a 4th, i just hope they would try and bring things back to the way they were (or just ask Del Toro to do it and not Goyer) |
