This is the first REAL superhero film since the Batman movies and X-Men. I had very high expectations for this film judging by the $100 Mil+ opening weekend. But after the movie I just felt let down. I'm not a big fan of these fantasy movies with wizards and goblins and spider men and this one was exactly like every other one. Tobey Maguire was wrong for the movie. He's a nerd. He's not very action typish. And, just the whole fact of a guy with spider webs coming out of his hands is just too far fetched. Yes, it's fantasy but still I mean this was so cheesy. With bad dialouge and bad voice overs. One of the worst of 2002. 2/10
