| I love horror films, but I detest the original Friday the 13th (2/10). It's slow, clunky, boring, horrible acted, and horribly directed. I nearly fell asleep by the end, and wasn't scared in the slightest (myself being a person who was terrified of Michael Myers until I was 12). The sequels are mostly better, because they're at least fun. The original is a made-for-cash slasher film that embrasses what Black Christmas and Halloween started. And Romeo&Juliet -- did you just call Halloween pompous because it doesn't follow *current* slasher rules? |
