Anyways, this was one big surprise for me......in a good way. After hearing so many negative reviews about it I decided to check it out to see just how bad it is. And I'm so glad I watched, surely one of the most underrated, underappreciated movies of 2002. The acting were top notch, especially Rebecca Romijn-Stamos who have never proven to me to be very talented, but after this movie she proved her acting talent to me. She can be both a good actress and sexy at the same time, I love this woman! Anyone here think she was robbed of an oscar nom? The plot did have it's flaws but overall the movie was extremely entertaining, stylish and sexy. Will go down as one of my favorite guilty pleasures of all time, except this one was quite clever and original. The ending was totally unexpected, one of the best endings I have seen in years, everything was just put together so well in this mysterious, intriguing tale. 8.5/10 |
