I agree that a lot of it was fairly boring and pointless. And the 'plot twist' near the end is completely rediculous, and it goes even further downhill afterwards. The movie starts out pretty good (I mean come on, a lesbian sex scene can't be bad, even if it is rather silly) but quickly degenerates into a muddled and confusing mess that you just don't care about anymore, especially once you realize there will be no more lesbian sex! I did enjoy watching Rebecca strut her stuff (she is HOT), but her acting is terrible. At several points, my friends and I were simply left saying "What the fuck is with this movie??" especially at the end, where the movie gets incredibly stupid, after coming so close to finally making sense. Leaves you shaking your head, and not in the good way. Very stylish, but overall quite disappointing. 4/10. Mulholland Dr. I agree was much better (7/10). |
