I have read all of the books in the series from Robert Ludlum. The books are great and the movie lives up to the fast paced style Ludlum wrote the boook in. I was worried about Matt Damon in the Role. I saw Sum of All Fears earlier in the year and HATED Ben Affleck in the role of Jack Ryan. Since I associate these guys through Good Will Hunting, i was thinking....they are going to screw this up with a young hot star in the role of Jason Bourne. I was totally worng. Damon did a great job. He was totally believable and playted the role to a T! His action sequences were right on the whole time. In fact the timing in the action sequences were great...fast paced, quick editing, and brutal (what Daredevil should have been!) My real favorite part was Franka Potente. She was fabulous in the role, and I now want to go rent RUn Lola, Run. If you like spy/action flicks, this is a great one to watch. I saw where a magazine (reputable one, I just can't remember the name) listed it as it's 9th best action movie in the last 10 years (or something like that). Good my memory is crap (I don't know how I can even remember a movie I saw yesterday). High rating here 8.5/10 |
