Frailty 8/10... Frailty is a creepy, interesting thriller and an impressive directorial debut for Bill Paxton who also stars in the film. He is a loving and caring father chosen by God to destroy demons with the help of his two sons. This man is obviously crazy...or is he as he has visions of angels and signs of what he needs to do. Matt O'Leary who plays a young Fenton is very good as Paxton's son who just doen't believe what is happening to his father and his "godly mission". Matthew McConaughey is also great as an older Fenton who tells us this story to FBI agent Powers Booth who is also good. The film has an eerie creepiness and weirdness to it that adds to the story which by itself is completely preposterous and ludicrous...it made me feel like the young boy Fenton wondering could this really be real? The film has a few unexpected twists and turns which puzzled me somewhat...and left me with a few questions....but overall this is a very good thriller from first time director Bill Paxton with excellent performances from the entire cast.
