Most movies based on video games are terrible( Streetfighter, Mortal Kombat: Anhilation...give me a break.), and I was hoping that this film would break free of the "Video Game Movie Curse". Boy, did it! Resident evil was nothing short of awesome! Despite a thin plot(keep in mind, this film is based on a video game.), the action was fierce, and it kept my attention from beginning to end. I found myself rooting for Michelle Rodriguez by the end of the film. Great film. Not for the squeamish. |
