I'd like to check it out again sometime though because I think I might like it a little better if I watch it by myself. But I still recommend it. It's a shame it didn't get a US theatrical release, but most mainstream moviegoers probably couldn't handle it. One thing's for sure though, GINGER SNAPS will be a cult classic. THUMBS UP! I gave it a 7/10 but was never really sure if I meant it or not, I had no idea if I really liked GINGER SNAPS. I thought I did but I didn't know for sure----I just hated the fact of not knowing wether or not I liked it. I actually deep down felt like giving it a 5/10 but I was just so unsure that nothing I gave it would be accurate. So now after watching it for a second time I have a definate answer. And the answer is YES, I liked it. It took me two times but I must say I enjoyed GINGER SNAPS more on my second viewing. It was a good and original movie. It wasn't very scary, other than the whole period thing (I'm sure glad I'm not a female), but it was still really well done. It's a WICKED little film, there's no doubt this time----THUMBS UP!!! It get's a SOLID 7/10 from me!!! |
