Yes, it had great fighting scenes and was full of action, but sometimes the action didn't make sense. For example, why did these morons shoot so many bullets, when they knew the bullets didn't hurt the reapers? It was known early on that UV light was the only thing to stop the reapers, but these bozos kept firing round after round. How stupid is that? Speaking of stupid, the script needed a lot of work. I didn't understand that main point of the plot at all. (Maybe I fell asleep in a critical moment of the movie). The "king" vampire hires Blade to rid the world of super-vampires, but it's the "king" vampire that is actually creating the super-vampires. Huh?!? Some of the action scenes were very well done, and some of the scenes were painfully cartoonish. Did two different companies work on the CGI for this flick? I couldn't believe that some of the scenes actually remained in the film (that's how poorly animated they were). Stick to stunt doubles on wires if you can't create them digitally. Sheesh. Overall, this movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't anywhere close to the first Blade. I say.....6/10. |
