I am not a J-Lo fan, and I was expecting a really humdrum story, with about as much to offer as the Social Security Office. Instead, we had another chilling flick in the tradition of The Cell, featuring a scared shiteless mother running from a psycho with mafia-like connections and a killer instinct. Now it's time for her to train to fight back! Doesn't sound that original does it? Well, even though I've had just about Enough of these domestic abuse movies (ironically), I can say that this one built up the desired tension with a number of chase and be-chased scenes, and released it full speed ahead with an awesome ending. As seen before in movies like The Score, this flick has a 75% setup and 25% conclusion layout. And mind you, the concusion is well worth the wait, unlike the thoroughly crappy Unbreakable. Check this one out some time, it's great!
