| Now this is good quality entertainment. Sure, the storyline is tired, but with a cast such as this, you can't go wrong. Jennifer Lopez gave a terrific performance as the wife of a sleezeball-from-hell. She has more talent than people give her credit for I think. And Billy Campbell, wow, what a slimeball!! Now that is good acting if you ask me..you want to hate him, you LOVE to hate him *grin*. And who could forget the little girl, she was absolutely PRECIOUS and gave the film some moments of humor. I'm not gonna go into the negatives a whole lot, just that the storyline isn't original, those damn index card things..wha??????? Aaaaaaaaanyway..I think it's good to appreciate films like this. You shouldn't over analyze a movie like this, just enjoy it for what it is. Good solid entertainment. 7/10 |
