| I wasn't surprised to hear the critics say they didn't like Mr. Deeds, becuase they didn't like any of Sandler's other films. I am proud to say that I am a HugeAdam Sandler fan and I was really looking forward to this movie, but I was let down. As Longfellow Deeds, Adam Sandler was not his bad boy self. Sure he could still kick ass, but not like Billy Maddison, or Happy Gilmore. Usually this doesn't matter to me, but Sandler didn't cuss at all. Like I said, language doesn't matter to me, but when I grew on Sandler's bad temper and bad mouth, I was let down. He said "Shit" once after which he appologized. All-in-all, the storyline just didn't click. I found myself looking at my watch a lot, wondering when it was time to leave. My rating: 5/10 |
