What was it about this film that didn't achieve the total "greatness" that i've been hearing from all those critics? Well... the action from beginning to end wtihout a doubt didn't fail to make me excited. I absolutely adored every action scene in the whole film. It was simply ecstasy based action packed fun. The films was awesome as far as the action was cocerned...not doubt about it. The only problem i had with the film was the contrast from action to non-action scenes. The dialogue bored the living hell out of me. Now if i were to watch it again, maybe it wouldn't seem so bad, but when i went to go and see the film i was in such a mood for an action film that all i wanted to see was an hour and a half of just x-men fighting and blowing things up etc. I was only looking for the switch off your brain and dribble side of the movie that day, i didn't want any intellectual talk from the x-men. Maybe i was so involved with the action, that when it actually did go back to the tame scenes it just didn't get the ole adrenalin pumping through the veins. Overall, a decent movie. 7/10
