| Freddy vs. Jason is winning? NO WAY! You know, the more I think about it, the more I feel cheated. I gave it a 6/10 right away after seeing it just because it was a fun horror film, nothing else. But the acting was even worse than atrocious, and there weren't one single hint of any eerieness to it, it wasn't treated as a horror film at all. Freddy and Jason were also wasted, not to mention they weren't scary anymore. Back in the ANOES and FRIDAY THE 13TH movies at least they were convincing villains and there were hints that those films were horror films, bad horror films maybe, but horror films nontheless. But this one wasn't even a 'horror' film, so I'm lowering my grade.........5/10 feels right, maybe 4/10. Btw, MAY deserves to win. That and Identity are by far the best horror films of the year IMO. |
