Thirty minutes into this overlong -- wayyyyy overlong -- sequel, I was already bored. And as the film progresses, it just became more and more insulting. I'm all for action films, but this plot seemed to be penned on a cocktail napkin and Michael Bay then just asked all of his actors to mug for the cameras -- to not come across as anything close to believable -- while he just concentrated on wanton destruction. The last 30 minutes is even less necessary, tossed in only so Bay can blow up a mansion. Comic moments like the accidental Ecstasy, videotaped conversation and meeting-the-date add nothing whatsoever to the already limited story. Easily one of this year's worst films.
