| Talk about improvements, the first Tomb Raider was not only the worst film of the summer of 2001, but it was the worst film of 2001 period (it was close between Tomb Raider and Freddy Got Fingered but atleast Freddy Got Fingered was never boring, it was too illogical and stupid to be boring). So imagine my surprise that not only did I enjoy the Tomb Raider sequal but I enjoyed it alot. This is a fun, fast paced, energetic and entertaining blast. And Angelina Jolie, who was a bore in the first one, delivers a much more lively, energetic performance here. She really shines and has great chemistry with costar Gerard Butler who also really shines (and really shines in the current release Timeline). |
