It had lots of action, but it was boring action. Nothing that was happening on screen was interesting. Stupid plot, stupid visual effects, stupid villains...just plain stupid. I have a very open imagination, you can make me believe almost everything, but I didn't a buy a second of this movie. I don't know why, I just thought it was very lame. Talking about the sequel, this second part was no difference. Although I was enterteined most of the time. The action and the villains were still stupid, even though they were different. The things that happen here are supposed to be taken seriously, so I just don't buy it. It's not like in the Charlie's Angels movies. Really unbelivable things happen, but you don't really care because you know the movie is not supposed to be taken seriously. But the filmakers of Tomb Raider actually want us to take what's going on seriously. Sorry, but I can't. Angelina Jolie looked gorgeous as usual, I think she's one of the most (If the not THE most) beautiful women on Earth. Those big, red lips...Yum! . In the end, this sequel was a bit better than the lame first one. Tomb Raider (3/10 or D) was bad, Tomb Raider 2 was a little enjoyable. At least I didn't have such a bad time. It wasn't very bright anyway. So my advice is: Check it out if you liked the first one, or if you are looking for some light enterteinment. If not, stay away. My grade: 5/10 or C |
