THE PIANIST (2002) I watched it Sunday night, and I was really disappointed. My hopes weren't THAT high, but I still expected it to be better than it was. For the first hour it was actually an interesting film, but then for the last hour and a half (it seemed longer) it gets extremely dull and goes more and more downhill as it goes along. Yawn! I thought it would be pretty good judging from the first hour, but then it completely lost my interest. For some reason I blind bought this (something I've been doing far too much lately), and it's not one that I'm keeping in my collection. I know I wouldn't ever watch it again. Even if I liked it I doubt I would have watched it again. It's too long and not interesting enough for more than one viewing. Grade: 5/10 (C)
