Topic: Gangs of New York Forum: JoBlo

I'm not sure what the overall idea was of the movie. To show a piece of history? The love story between Amsterdam and Jenny? Amsterdam's revenge on Bill the Butcher? A good movie overall, but I expected more from Scorsese.
