| I'm fully with JoBlo on this one. A give the film credit for being innovative, original, and with a creative initial idea, but other than that, there's nothing else here. The plot was boring, the action sequences were totally generic, and not one character did anything for me. (We're even supposed to believe some hokey subplots about relationships.) The worst thing about it is that the film had so much potential. But then every thing got mucked up in a God-awful scrreenplay. I also hated the CGI. (Mr. Hyde was dreadful.) In the end, I didn't care at all about any of the characters, I didn't care about the story, and I wasn't excited or entertained at all during the entire time. It would have been so much better if they had made it more goofily spectacular, and realized their place. This could have been an excellent, over-the-top adventure movie with a sense of parody, but instead we're left completely empty and not entertained in the least. My Rating: 5/10 |
