| Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem - 7/10 This movie plain and simply was just great fun. I go to the theatre, sit down in my favorite seat with my popcorn and pop, munch away as the theatre fills up to be nearly sold out (I know, AVP almost sold out at a matinee!). The movie starts, the fun begins. Aliens and Predator fucking shit up, terrorizing a town, beating each other up, lashing out a bit of the ol' ultra violence. The crowd was into it, laughing and cheering at the amazing amount of fun that was being displayed in front of them. This film isn't great, it isn't terrible, it is just a lot of fun. And for all of you gore hounds, plenty of blood, guts and gore to go around. Bloody stabbings, shootings, crushings, slashings, beatings and just about any kind of violent "ings" that you can think of. If you're looking for a good time with some friends over the holidays, Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem is where it's at. |
