| In my opinion, Episode was a great movie. Almost none of my friends enjoy these type of movies because they didnt have an older brother to get them into this sort of thing! I did, however, convince one of them to go with me and she's siked about them now. Not a "star wars" freak or anything, but you know- Just happy with the movie. I thought the music in this movie was totally awesome.. "Across the Stars" (Love theme) is great, just as expected. It could have not been much better, dont you agree? Nobody hardly ever discuss's music and such, just the "bad scenes" & "poorly written script." Now, its time to critize the people that think so lowly of Episode 2. If the reason you didnt like this movie was because of the script, simply get over it. Ofcourse you thought the lines between Padme' and Anakin would be a tad bit better because we're living in the 21st century..and you THINK it is supposed to have what you want it to have. This takes place a long, long time ago, and I thought what they said fitted the movie fine. It wasn't exactly the "greatest of all time," but it was definitely worth watching. All of these people that critize the film probably wouldnt get half the ratings Lucas has. If YOU think you could do better, then prove it. You come up with something that will make you famous, then just try to "woo" everybody. Watch and see how it turns out. If you're a true Star Wars fan, and not a fake (only liking because of lines and such) you wouldnt think such things about Episode 2, or Episode 1. However, everybody has their own opinions in which I've got a flaw or two about the movie, also. The problems I saw with the movie had to do with Anakin, which everybody thought did great. He did an excellent job, no doubt, there's just something about him.. he seemed like he was rather kid-like, then at times mature (something like that), in the movie, you know? And Padme' was much more mature than him, which was great to see her taking more lead over him! Natalie and Hayden did a spectacular job. I didnt see anything wrong with Obi-Won, he was just all-around, great stuff. Oh yeah, one more thing that I thought was weird, was how Dooku cut Anakin's arm off so easily. It looked like Anakin just wasnt looking and BAM! That part, I was unsure of!! But it worked out fine, because Anikan is afterall, just a padawan at the time. Obi-Won and Yoda was awesome throughout the movie. When I was little, Yoda used to seem kind of scary to me!! I mean, a little green fury thing with pointy ears didnt exactly strike me as "Cute." Well anyway, I didnt want this to be TOO long. In conclusion, Episode 2 = Great. |
