I think I need to say something about this movie. It was very strange. After reading the three books I had an expectation of what I was going to see. The film kept the main events, but it swerved on numerous details. It also put in a whole load full of more emotional stimuli. I think the movie is a perfect movie for THIS book. If you guys who haven't read the book think this movie was long...I keep on thinking of all the 70+hours they could have added! This is a perfect summary of the book. I did not think it was long at all compared of what it "could have been." People have to remember it was based on a very detailed oriented book full of every little thing that happened to Frodo, like a HISTORY LESSON. It was meant to be long and the movie needed to be a lot longer than the average to reflect this. By the way, THE MOVIE WAS GREAT.
