I could not wait not to reply to this!!! 10/10 "The Lord Of The Rings" This is the BEST MOVIE I just CANNOT say anything bad about THIS!!! I mean I've been watching the movie with my eyes staring at the screen thinking what's gonna HAPPEN NEXT! I was so amazed by Peter Jackson's piece of JUST AWESOME work! I really like the movie mostly cause of its length. I didn't even go to bathroom through the MOVIE I just didn't want to. (A good thing because you don't get to miss anything ) Acting: Well The acting WAS PERFECT!!! The hobbits were funny mostly Sam and the other two. The best acting through film was Mr. Ian's as Gandalf. I liked it. The part that got most too me is when Gandalf screams "You cannot pass!!! repeatedly by raising more voice into the phrase while suspenseful orchestra music is playing and the demon growling. His ACTING WAS VERY VERY GOOD!!! And of course Elijah Wood's was good too. His innocent facial expressions were more real looking. It wasn't fakish, well acted. Special F/X, Visual F/X: The F/X were playing the main part in the movie. They were not cheesy or anything else at all, well at least I think so. The two Statues on the sides of the river were perfectly animated and textured. The Mines: Was actually THE BOMB I was staring at the screen! (as I mentioned before) The part I really LOVED was the Ogre one "Oooooh Yes" I know you liked it too people! The Ogre was made very good. And was scary looking and Bad Ass also. The F/X people ALL F/X!!! Oh yes I forgot about the Wave ripping through the river!......Man it is not just awesome it's pretty COOL! I liked it especially when the horses where put into the wave, it looked more Magic-like. The first ever scene was animated and textured to really look like We, people looking at the Dark World! The Ocres and all the creatures Amazed me! They looked so real! well it was actually make-up but the creatures looked really like they were real. Well I really have nothing else to say but just be thinking of such an AMAZING Work and re-creation of J.R.R Tolkien's "The Lord of The Rings" Some facts: I've never read the books but I did heard about Lord Of The Rings about 1 year ago or so, and Asked my Stepdad about the book and what was it about. I think I found out about LOTR is when I really first heard about it coming out, yeah I did now I remember. So he told me about it while we were driving in the car to pick up my mom from work and Here I'm writing a REVIEW of them movie that I haven't had a clue about over a year ago saying HOW I LOVED IT!!! Amazing isn't it? Now I know about a movie without reading a book, but still how people say "Books are always better" So I'd have to read anyway it's still a year to go till the second and 1 more after till the third. Overall: 10/10 + The Best Picture Of The Year! [This message has been edited by Invincible (edited 01-03-2002).] [This message has been edited by Invincible (edited 01-03-2002).]
