9/10-First off it was Visually stunning and the setting was beautiful. Giving Arwen more screentime was pointless. Jackson upset some of the books fans just for giving her like a few more minutes of screen time. I didn't even give a damn about ehr by the end of the movie. Also he made a good choice form cutting out the Tom Bombadil stuff because most of the audience would walk out after hearing that jolly man sing. Also, i though Wood was actually a good actor to play Frodo. The acting was pretty good too. That Orc that samuran made looked like mel gibson in Bravehart(and was that in the book). Jackson made a good job keeping the movie exciting(except that bridge thing cause it wasnt that original and i wasnt too excited) He did a pretty good job not wasting time. Merry and Pippin though didn't really seem like Frodo's friend in the movie and they jsut tagged a long for no reason. Also that fire guy with the whips i forgot his name at the moment was he described of having horns in the book? Oh yeah i also wished there was more of Legolas in the movie i thought he was a cool character. Oh yeah also the end when Sam almost drowns it seems like he was trying to commit suicide or something. Most people were probably cnfused in the end. Overall..great movie! I just wished i got in a comfortably seating postion.
