I think I was expecting a lot more than what I got, but I still enjoyed the film. I wasn't scared at all in the "first 5 minutes" like I've heard before, although it was an unsettling scene. I found myself more depressed than scared throughout the movie. Granted, there were some scenes that had me freaked, but I thought it did a great job in the whole "end of the world" cliche. The infected were fuckin' A scary!! Oh my God, they're like zombies on crack. Takes between 10-20 seconds to turn and then they're suddenly Olympic sprinters!! Fuck me. I prefer the ending where Jim actually died, but the "radical" ending made no sense whatsoever. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but I was still entertained. And Naomie Harris is fuckin' H-O-T. ...cancels summer trip to England... 7 our of 10 |
