| I remember when the original Scream came out. Everyone at my high school was raving about it, so I finally went to see it, and I was blown away. When the second one came out, I was entertained, but not nearly as much as the first. Now the final Scream comes out, and let me tell you I was quite impressed. The humor level went up, great dialogue, great performances all around, and a really cool ending. I have to give kudos to Neve Campbell, who has established herself as a solid actress, and she comes through again, though I think she was a bit fragile for my taste..I dunno..if I had been through something like that, it would take time for me to get over. Cox-Arquette and David Arquette are wonderful together. Jenny McCarthy is HOT The only complaint I had was the lack of the self-referential lines which made the first Scream so good. I mean, it had its moments, but there were times when I was thinking "Ok, THIS should have happened like this, bla bla bla." An overall good film to watch and to have fun with. 8/10 |
