I think the last movies like The Exorcist, Shinning, and Suspiria that I have been so enthused about a film. The atmosphere and creepiness is the best that I have ever seen in a film and I think the acting by all four of the characters were top notch, even the little boy. I have seen the orginal and the little boy in that picture was a waste. This film has made me appreciate the Japanese films (horror kind) even more. On a side note, I have seen the Japanese Ring trilogy and it is the best horror film trilogy out there, period!! I have also seen The Eye which I hear is going to be remade and have Dark Water which I haven't seen, but I here a few people say that it is even more creepier than The Ring!! BTW, Dark Water is also directed by the same director of Ring. So my mark are: Ring (2002) - 9/10 Ring (Jap) - 8/10 Ring 2 - 8.5/10 Ring 0 - 7/10 The Eye - 8/10 |
