It also felt a bit forced on some level. The chemistry between Stahl and Danes was absent in my observance. Too much comedy for my taste. I like my terminator movies cold and heartless like the original. Spoilers What's the deal with these non-terminating terminators? The last two movies have given me a tame terminator to root for that won't kill anybody. Why? I don't like that at all. Also, at the base, where in the hell are all the soldiers? Anyone could have just walked into that top secret base and wrecked the joint. I may be wrong, but I suspect 3 star Generals have security up the ying yang. Come anywhere near area 51 and helicopters and men in all terrain vehicles will come out ready to shoot if you don't turn back with authorization. Yet Arnold and his crew could just walk into the joint like someone left the front door open, no alrms no checkpoints, no nothing. If these 850 model was tough enough to be drug thru buildings in that chase scene(which by no means even comes close to the pure awesomeness of the Matrix Reloaded's Freeway scene) and remain in tact, and throw hands with the Terminatrix on near even par, why did the T-1000 mop the floor with him at every turn? And one more thing, John Connor whined way too much! John Connor bad ass savior of the world is this whiny little punk? God save us all! End of Spoilers By no means is this a bad movie, by no means is it a great movie. Although the Fx was very well done, and Arnold was good.
