Let's go and give it a chance. It may have the best $8 I have spent in a while. Acting: John Cusack was very good in this movie. He is really in a transitional point in his career. This may be the one movie that takes him from being the young comedic actor, to the serious, dramatic actor he is capable of. Ray Liotta always bring a strong charisma to the screen, and does so with this one. he has that over the edge sense about him, that keeps you guessing about his true identity in the movie. Amanda Peete was surpringly strong. After seeing her in the Whole 9 Yards I was worried her performance would bring the whole movie down. Gladly, I can say she actually made the movie better. The rest of the cast played out well. The movie: Was thrilling, thought provoking, and non-stop. If you take a minute off, you will miss something. The twists and the turns. This is not a slasher movie. There is some gore, and some violence, but it all adds to the movie, and doesn't go over board like other movies. Form others mentioned above, you get the jest of the flick. I don't want to post any spoilers, because I hate knowing what's going to happen in a movie I haven't seen. My advice though is to go see it. It is by far the best movie released this year. 9/10 |
