Well, it's not a good movie, I will give you that. But it is far from the worse movie and, truth be told, it is actually one of the better of the Friday the 13th films. Probably the most disappointing thing about this movie(if that is what you want to call that) is the missed opportunities. The movie is mistitled. Before watching the movie I wasn't expecting it to be great but I thought this one might actually be fun since it takes Jason out of Camp Crystal Lake and into Manhattan. Unfortunately, the bulk of the movie takes place on the cruise ship to Manhattan and they don't actually get there until the last twenty minutes of the movie!!! That was so bogus. There are a couple of funny scenes (that are actually intentional!) but even when they get to Manhattan all Jason is doing is going after the remaining survivors. That was so disappointing. It is a bad movie but it is a lot better than some of the others. Atleast in this one, what passes for acting didn't make me want to shoot myself. But, like I said, don't get me wrong, it is still a bad movie. *1/2
