Topic: Reviews: The Matrix Forum: JoBlo

The highlights of "The Matrix" are the fantastic speeded-up fight sequences and the dismal underground world of machine creatures that birth human electrodes. Both Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss were good as Neo and Trinity, but I especially liked Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, he was the most convincing to me acting wise. The film got a little weird with the oracle lady and don't know if really like Mr. Smith and the gate-keepers, but believed idea of matrix of non-real world created for humans. Pretty exciting ending with them dangling from rope from helicopter. Grade: 7/10 B
