| The Matrix, well need I not explain is a cult classic. Nothing I have to say about this movie hasnt already been said. It combines old kung-fu with a kick ass question. What is The Matrix? Unfortunatly, the sequel, The Matrix Reloaded, forgot all originality this one had and just turned it into a CGI action fest. Which isnt horrible, but just nothing new. Because of this movie, we get COUNTLESS numbers of unoriginal Matrix spoofs, $ making anime disk sets, and sure to come, THOUSANDS of special editions. So has the Matrix sold out?? yes. but I did expect it to. Just see this film as a stand alone, avoid the hype, and get ready for a cool ass action movie. 9/10 |
