| This movie was a typical, generic horror movie. There wasn't anything new or surprising with this one. Who couldn't guess which people were going to survive at the end? I'm getting a little tired of this cookie-cutter formula. We saw it in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House of 1000 Corpses, and a zillion other movies. Gee, college kids get chased by hillbilly whackos. Whoooohoooo. Some of the killings were kind of interesting. Also, I thank the movie gods that we didn't see or hear from the hillbillies too much. That would have changed this flick from "typical" to "completely stupid." Luckily, the guy at the gas station only said what was needed......no more, no less. Who isn’t tired of the maniacs getting up and walking away, no matter what?!? If the movie would have made me care who lived and died, it would have been a better flick. I say...5/10. |
