| At such a young age, Orson Wells, some other players created Citizen Kane. A movie's movie. For many this was their film to cherish forever, and many new folk watch this movie and become "Kaned". When I first saw the film, I didn't know what to make of it, I thought to myself, 'That's it?' I was expecting the greatest show ever to be filmed. But the fact is, it is a suttle (well, sometimes), simple story of a not so simple man. But big things happen, so big you sometimes can't fully appreciate it. Wells created a film that is regared as 'The Greatest Film' ever made, oh and guess what, it never won best picture, wacked if you ask me. Anyway, Wells created a marvel of a film that is almost like a soap, but one that we can all love. Many people may not love the film like myself and other folk, but that's ok, it's still a marvel to behold. 10/10 |
