Topic: Reviews: The Corruptor Forum: JoBlo

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood or something, but I just kinda watched in a daze when I was saw The Corruptor. I just got really bored from it at some parts. It also seemed like the editing was very poor. It seemed like they'd edit out parts that were needed to build the characters and replace that with some bloody meaningless drug bust. This movie would be crappy if it wasn't for the great acting. Even though the editing for the characters was poor, Mark Wahlberg and Chow Yun Fat really did a good job at making their characters believable. The Corruptor did have some admirable shooting scenes, but even that seemed a little overwhelming at times. Everything else about it was neither bad or good, so there's no point in discussing that. So overall it was a fair movie. The Corruptor- 6/10
