I think I'd give it a 6/10 - it was a fun popcorn movie, but I don't think it was anything more. As for the 6/10 rating on INTO THE BLUE, I think it is unfair to judge the rating alone. People simply compare ratings and that's not the way to do it. You have to compare the reviews themselves. Joblo appreciated INTO THE BLUE for what it was, but didn't say it was amazing or anything - just good ol' eye candy. Before he watched SERENITY, he heard nothing but INSANE PRAISE AND HYPE, thus making his experience watching the movie much different. He also explains in detail why he did or didn't like both movies, and does so in a way that you can obviously say, "Oh, well I guess that's where we disagree." You just have to look at it differently, and understand the reasoning behing the rating, and most of all, the review. |
