The film wins an extra point with me because most of it was shot on location and looked real. Aeon was more defined, more human, feminine and even vulnerable. I could relate more with her and her reality. But Theron generally being more attractive than Jovovitch, didn't look as good playing Flux as Milla did being Ultraviolet. The main problem I have with this film is that they had surveillance systems everywhere in that small city where Aeon doesn't even try to protect her identity. Also the (shocking) revelation about Aeon's uthopic society was badly brought by the story, you didn't really feel an urgency on the part of the baddies to capture Flux and I found some of the technology exagerated. This film's demise to mediocrity, like Ultraviolet's is largelly due to the incompetance of the filmmakers behind them. It has nothing to do with the protagonist being a woman. Agent out!
