I need to see this at some point. I LOVED In the Name of the Father (Day-Lewis, Thompson, and Postlewaite were excellent and the subject matter frighteningly relevant), and I can't wait to see what Jim Sheridan does with BROTHERS (why was he the first to cast Tobey and Jake as brothers? Did no one else see a resemblence?) Agree about Get Rich or Die Trying being a sore thumb. I was ASTONISHED to see that he directed that. BTW, Psychocandy, BROTHERS' release date has been moved up to December 5, 2008. Just in time for Oscar season.
