Topic: HD DVD vs Blu-Ray arguments Forum: JoBlo

Let me start of by saying i love dvds with a passion!!!! I spend 300 each week alone on movies. I own a full highdef tv and have channels in hd so i knew the difference between standard and highdef. a year ago as soon as I heard of dvds coming out in high def I jumped on board and bought myself HD DVD player coast me 700 bucks. I bought it cause of 2 of my favorite films V FOR VENDETTA & BATMAN BEGINS. i seen these films so amny times and standard dvd and was blown away by the look and sound of the hd format. To this day I own 86 HD movies. A few moths later i did my homework and found out the 20th centuary fox and lionsgate are exclusive to Blueray so I went out and bought myself a BLUERAY PALYER it coast me 900 bucks. I had to get this just for the SAW TRILOGY & CLOSER. To this day i own 94 BLUERAY movies. Both players are amazing!!! I love both I don't care who wins in the war as long i have my movies in highdef im fine. I bought both players because No one tells me what I can and can't watch. So i had to buy both formats to watch all my favorite films in HD.
