Topic: What film/s did everyone watch today?? Redux Forum: JoBlo
I try not to post re-watches here but today I decided to watch this again. This is my third viewing, last time was when it came out - twice. You know what they say, third time's a charm. I finally understood every detail that I missed before and that lead me into absolute understanding of everything in the film. Maybe it's the sentiment in me, or maybe it's because V for Vendetta is that damn good, that I actually got teary-eyed during many emotional scenes in the film such as Valerie's letter. Important film to come out during this time because it feels like more and more real today, and many parallels could be drawn between the fictional Britain in the film and the U.S. The Wachowski brothers did something great with the adaptation and you can thank McTeigue for helming the director's chair. Some of the best music ever scored on film is present here. 10/10
