Fastastic four: directors cut. probably sometime in the spring before the sequel comes out to capitalize as far as All the Kings Men goes. Sony has always quickly released their product onto dvd/video. its not about oscars or academy members. i mean its being released into theatres in september. if they wanted a more oscar friendly month. december would have been a good choice. i believe it may get panned by critics and sony wants another movie on dvd before the holidays. I mean look at their track record underworld evolution Theatres in Jan DVD in June when a stranger calls theatres in feb DVD in May Freedomland Theatres in Feb DVD in May Ultraviolet Theatres in Mar DVD in June Pink Panther Theatres in Feb DVD in June Basic Instinct 2 theatres in Mar DVD in july Benchwarmers Theatres in April DVD in July Silent Hill Theatres in April DVD in Aug RV Theatres in April DVD in Aug Da Vinci Code is the only example of them not following their traditional 3 to 5 month window Click Theatres in June DVD in Oct Little Man Theaters in July DVD in Nov Monster House Theatres in July DVD in Oct Talladega nights Theatres in Aug DVD in Nov Zoom Theatres in Aug DVD in Dec and I can almost Guarantee that the Covenant will be on DVD before the the end of the year as well Hope this helps |
