Indeed, what is most fascinating about this script isn't what's in it but rather what surrounds it: Watching the movie we aren't indicated about the notion that perhaps Barris fabricated this whole story, but a little research leads us to see just what attracted Kaufman and later Clooney to the tale: its ambiguous truthfulness. That aside, the film is quite good, slightly confusing but always entertaining, and Sam Rockwell delivers a performance so damn absolutely FANTASTIC that I really don't understand why the man doesn't have more respect and doesn't get more major roles in Hollywood. It is a powerhouse performance to remember, and while Clooney did a much more solid job directing Good Night, and Good Luck., this is still a great and interesting work from everyone. RATING: 8/10.
