| On a **** scale... SUNRISE: A SONG OF TWO HUMANS - **** God, I fucking love my campus' inter-library loan system. Looking back, I should have been really jarred and confused by the sudden switch from extremely dark drama to a reliatively jubilant flick almost halfway through. But I didn't care, because it was so extraordinary to watch; the acting was phenomenal, the drama involving, and the filmmaking really ahead of its time. This looked more like a 1950s movie without the sound than an 80-year-old flick, and I could barely take my eyes off of it. What a movie. |
