I love the South Florida style with light colors in day and stark at night, but always light breezy material. And saying it I realized house is a celebrity, but a character --- who else shares that style though. It's kind of like hipster rocker or something - dunno, but it works for me because you get to wear a suit jacket, but in the snow, hell now am I wearing the slacks that go with and getting them mucked up or dress shoes that won't hold traction. It's kind of like everyone at my office dresses really professional, and I'm like "Hey, I'm kind of trying, but I'll save the good shit for when I'm trying to impress people with my clothes, not when I'm dealing with this shit." It's also kind of a throw-back to like 80s arthouse scene, I think. Still though, everything just kind of fit together and I liked it, but now that someone threw out the House comparison, and I was like "Kewl..." I think I'm going to play it up a lot more. I'm gonna really fuck with em, and lightly powder my hair one day; already have the half assed weekly shaving thing down. |
